- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup cream (heavy or whipping cream)
- 1/2 cup broth (or water)
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper (or black pepper)
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- salt (to taste.)
- 3/4 cup flour (for drenching optional)

This dish got rave reviews and reminded us of the great food of New Orleans. I made it with cod since red fish wasn't available and without any substitutions to the recipe.
