- 4 salmon steaks (skinned, each weighing 115–175g, 4–6oz)
- 350 grams brown rice
- 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 tsp. chilli sauce
- 2 tsp. garam masala
- 2 Tbsp. Flora Cuisine (or 25g Flora Buttery)
- 4 spring onions (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 400 grams chopped tomatoes (can)
- chilli sauce (to taste)
- 175 grams fresh spinach leaves
- black pepper

Directions
- Mix together the paste ingredients and spread over the fish steaks. Cover and chill for about 2 hours.
- Place the fish in an ovenproof dish, cover and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C, 160°C fan, gas mark 4 for 15–20 minutes or until cooked.
- Meanwhile, to make the sauce, place all ingredients except the spinach in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in the spinach, bring to the boil and simmer gently for about 3–4 minutes.
- Cook the rice following packet instructions and drain.
- Serve the fish on the sauce with the rice.
