Description
Here's the ultimate in effortless hors d'ouvres, using just three ingredients and simple assembly rather than any real technique (and zero cooking). You will need to scour the markets for the freshest figs you can find, and those that are perfectly ripe (but not too ripe, or they will be cloyingly sweet). They are cut open and used as edible vessels for tangy goat cheese, then wrapped in a slice of salty ham and skewered, for easy eating.
