  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth ({may need a 1/4 cup extra, all depends on your heat})
  • 10 ounces whole kernel corn (} package frozen sweet, thawed)
  • 1 cup carrots (diced)
  • 15 ounces black beans (} can, rinsed and drained)
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes (with no seeds)
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice ({optional, but recommended})
  • 1 dash salt ({if needed})
