The grapefruit almost overwhelms, but it gives it a unique flavor, and the smoothie is creamy and rich. I added protein powder stevia, and substituted some of the tea for ice.

This was the first actual smoothie I’ve made that is not loaded with fruit and processed sugars- I added a few extra sprigs of mint leaves, 3 sliced red and green apples each and a splash of pomegranate. I tried it first without the apples and it was great. My 8 year old son tasted it as well and we both decided it was missing something. The apples are a wonderful addition. From the mouth of a finicky eater and a snack loving mom. We give it 5 stars.
