I love this drink. In my opinion it doesn't need sweetener. and if your trying to loose weight even honey will add fructose and calories unfortunately. I add cayenne and being a chronic lyme sufferer a little turmeric for the joints. It helps me curb the craving to snack and is great for the belly. I lost two pounds right away but that could be due to a very strict diet I follow for lyme disease. Regardless its a healthy addition to any diet. It was great to read others responses and ideas, thank you!

I liked this, I could taste the vinegar but it wasn't overpowering. Apples were delicious after they 'marinated' for a while. Might try warm tomorrow. I plan to try and drink this once every day, before lunch.

Just made this drink today, its not too bad. I've been trying to remember to drink ACV, but this tastes much better then it plain with lemon and water. Would love to hear from anyone who has lost weight drinking this or ACV.

I made this drink and it tasted good. I add a little cayenne pepper to give it a kick and I did not add any sweetner. I am gonna make this drink more often.

This stuff is just nasty. Hard to take. I don't think adding more sweetener would help either. It's just hard to swallow.

At night before going to bed I prepare the morning drink, grind some ginger, put same turmeric, cinnamon. In the morning warm it, add a spoon of honey, 2 spoons of apple cider vinegar. Divide the drink in two glasses (500 ml) and I drink one and one for my husband. We do it for a year, Can't tell you I lost any weights, but did not put any more and I think I feel a bit better.

I love this drink. I put about 1/4 cup water in a coffee cup and heat up for 40 seconds then i add the cinnamon and honey so that they can disolve better. Then i pour into a 12 ounce glass and add the rest of the ingredients and fill with water and ice. I think that for some people it might not taste as well because if you use raw honey, you have to make sure it disolves in hot water first along with the cinnamon. I drink this every day and it gives me energy thruout the day. Sometimes i drink it warm too.

I just started a detox diet when I started drinking this and it helped so much through the course of it and it tasted delicious. I was wary about trying it based on the comments about the taste but to be honest, I thought it tasted fine when I got as far as mixing the apple cider and the lemon juice. I added the juice of one whole lemon though which was more than the recipe called for. I took another members advice and sweetened with honey, I used raw organic honey. In addition, I let the apple saturate in the mixture like another reviewer suggested. It turned out to be delicious and I plan on drinking this long after my detox is over. It quenches your thirst like no other and you reduces hunger. Plus, you can eat the apples as a snack as you finish the drink!

I make this in large batches, and drink this throughout the day. I still use half an apple and 2 tbsp lemon juice though. As you let it sit in the fridge it gets a lot better, it will start to taste more like apples and not so vinegar-y.

I have been making this drink for a while it helps with controlling your sugar level. I don't crave sweets as much with this drink and it helps my husband he is diabetic. I did loose weight as well.

Followed the recipe and after a few days, realized it tastes better when you use tepid water, mix it up and let it sit for a half hour to absorb the flavors of the apple etc. Letting it sit and using the tepid water also helps to dissolve the cinnamon. I try to drink 3 glasses of water with fresh lemon during the day, so I use the bottled lemon juice for this recipe. No difference in taste and don't forget to eat the apples afterwards. !

Added 2T of honey instead of sweetener and that made all the difference in taste and cut the vinegar taste....it's a detox drink so I never expected it to taste the best to begin with!

I drink this with a straw as its very acidic on my teeth and i dont taste as much of it as it goes sraight down. Been drinking it for about a week, have seen slight weight improvement.

I have been drinking this every day and find it does suppress the appetite a bit, not sure if I have lost weight or not yet but time will tell. Thanks for the recipe!
