This was a good base recipe for me. It turned out great, but I did not have sherry or white wine vinegar, so I used a little balsamic and a dash of soy. I really like it, but I am one of those many cooks who improvises, so I will just continue to do that. As the photo shows, I also added a just a bit of chopped red bell pepper for color, since I had it on hand.

Double the amount of shrooms, onions, garlic, herbs, and add some red pepper flakes (thanks to review below this), and get a little more sauce out of it.

Made a double batch it was very nutty and yummy. The remaining liquid soaked up in the farro, personally I think I'd like a little more sauce.

Made this today, using Marsala I didn’t have parsley but did have fresh thyme. I found it a little bland so I added a pinch of red pepper flakes. Trying to figure out what else I want to add.

We thought this was very tasty. I did double the mushrooms an it was just right.

I doubled the mushrooms and onions and used bourbon instead of sherry. It was fantastic!!
