- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
- 1 tangerine (about 1 tablespoon)
- 1 tsp. tangerine juice (fresh squeezed)
- 1 cup buttermilk (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups frozen cranberries (or fresh, if using frozen do not thaw)
- 3 Tbsp. turbinado sugar (sugar in the raw or some other coarse sugar for sprinkling, optional - this will give the top a nice crunch)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 Tbsp. tangerine juice (fresh squeezed)
- 2 Tbsp. milk (optional - see instructions)
