- 1 cup garbanzo beans (soaked 24 hours, drained. Do not cook.)
- buns (Tzatziki Sauce, Tahini Sauce, Pickled onions or pickled peppers, sliced tomato, lettuce, crumbled feta)
- 1/2 cup red wine (vinegar, apple cider, or white)
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 10 sweet peppers (little, sliced)
- 1 tsp. coriander seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds
- 1 tsp. whole peppercorn (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic (sliced, optional)
