These turned out great! Followed exactly with no nuts. Had only 1 softened butter so melted the other one. Baked for 8 minutes and soft inside. I’ve made several other recipes and didn’t turn out good so this one is a keeper!

great cookies...i decreased the baking soda by half a teaspoon due to my elevation...they rose beautifully...sending them to my daughter in college 1100 miles away

I went there all the instructions and measurements but my cookies crumbled. I took them out, to see if they were done, and they just crumbled. I don't understand how that happened.
They were really yummy. However I think I overcooked it cause they were kinda chrunchy. Still, everbody loved it:)
Excellent, as always. Been using a modified version of this for years now. 😊

Rating for the amazing cookie recipe but beware. Measurements on this app aren’t the same measurements that are on the recipe website. Follow the measurements on the website and you’ll get perfect cookies every time. Using the measurements here gave me not as chewy cookies (still good though). It took me four tries before I figured out the discrepancy.

For some reason, no matter how many minutes I added, they wouldn't turn golden brown. They were more of a light dough color. Other than the look, they tasted pretty good for a crispy cookie.

Best cookies I've ever made, used this recipe twice now and they've turned out perfect

They turned out well. I do believe I will add an extra half cup or more of flour when I make them next time (and I definitely will) and I ended up keeping them baking longer.

Made about 40 good sized cookies using the measurements on yummly instead of the original recipe. With 3 kids on summer break, these cookies were a hit. (They were soft in the middle, which is the way we like them, but i know some people don't like that.)
