- 2 cups tortellini (cooked separate and drained)
- 2 cups mixed vegetables
- 1 cup frozen green beans
- 10 oz. spinach (chopped)
- 1 cubed potato
- 1 zucchini (cubed)
- 1 can cannellini beans
- 15 oz. diced tomatoes
- 2 stalks diced celery (with leaves)
- 1 basil leaf (fresh)
- granulated garlic
- basil
- parsley
- pepper
- cayenne
- salt
- 1 diced onion
- 4 qt. water
- grating cheese
- carrots (optional)
- sliced mushrooms (optional)
- fennel (optional)
- kidney beans (optional)
- shredded cabbage (optional)

Every soup I make is an experiment. Sometimes the participants are happy. Sometimes I know what to leave out, next time.
I may have randomly followed this recipe. When the Slow cooker was full, I stopped.
My list: Frozen mixed vegetables; 2 celery stalks sliced; 4 oz. mushrooms; Leftover Roasted Chicken pieces; Leftover meatloaf slice; Leftover chopped Kale; Leftover mashed potatoes. Spices - salt, pepper, oregano, cayenne pepper, basil.
This is a untraditional, traditional soup.
