Very good flavor, but added more vegetables for the amount of sauce it made.Made exactly to recipe, except added broccoli and peas along with the celery and onion to make it less soupy. The measurements of broth/milk/flour/butter were a perfect ratio for making a perfect consistency which could be used for other casseroles. Thanks for sharing!

I made this for dinner and it was a winner with my wife. Definitely will make this again.

This is one of those recipes you read and think what’s the deal, why is this so highly rated? So I made it...aaaand worth the rating. Not much to the ingredients but sometimes simple is best when it comes
To comfort foods. I always make a recipe as called for first time to see what I want to tweak. Really not much to tweak. I was generous with the veggies and chicken and was glad because the broth you simmer made it perfect consistency. Also I tried to use darker meat...tastes better in casseroles. Husband, kids and a sick friend I gave some too all said this is now a fav and goes in our rotation!

I've made this a couple of times. Turned out great both times. It is simple but very tasty and comforting. Great way to use extra chicken (my husband brougbt home 2 rotisserie chickens the other day! Buy one get one.) I typically have all of the ingredients on hand for this, so it's a great recipe for a quick, pleasing meal. I made for my 95 year old Mom and she just loved it!

Easy to make. Had all the ingredients. Fresh peppers from the garden topped it off.

I thought it tasted really good.It was shown served in a bowl with liquid in it so i knew it was soupy.I have a lot left over since it was just for me.I think it needed a little more pasta,I used Rotini, which worked well.Maybe double the amount and maybe a little more chicken.I'm going to add both when I reheat it.I used a Rotisserie chicken(very easy) that I had already bought and ate some of the day before.,perfect for this.I don't like the white meat that much and this it was yummy in this recipe without having to make chicken salad with mayonnaise as I tend to do.This was different and good.

I admit to not following the directions on this one. I just did not want to turn my oven on because it is so hot outside. I made this entirely on the stove in one pan, and it was super tasty. I cooked the chicken and veggies together with all of the butter, then put the flour directly in that mixture, adding the milk and stock slowly after that. I finished it by putting the uncooked noodles directly in the same pan and letting them cook with the rest of it. It was better, in my opinion, than having 3 pans on a stove with a dish that still had to be finished in the oven.
