Easy to make. Had all the ingredients. Fresh peppers from the garden topped it off.

I admit to not following the directions on this one. I just did not want to turn my oven on because it is so hot outside. I made this entirely on the stove in one pan, and it was super tasty. I cooked the chicken and veggies together with all of the butter, then put the flour directly in that mixture, adding the milk and stock slowly after that. I finished it by putting the uncooked noodles directly in the same pan and letting them cook with the rest of it. It was better, in my opinion, than having 3 pans on a stove with a dish that still had to be finished in the oven.
