Amazing! Added the whole bag of red potatoes for a heartier dish. Doubled spices (except for salt.) added a couple teaspoons of brown sugar and a few shakes of cayenne. Delicious.

Really tasty! The cumin complements the potatoes well. I was a little Leary the turmeric thinking it might overpower the other seasoning but it blended beautifully. I used probably
1 1/2 teaspoons ginger from the tube instead of powder and it was fine.
Good recipe and nice variation of cooked cabbage. I will definitely make this again.

Delicious! I was looking for something to use my other cabbage half for. Anyone saying this is bland must have mixed up the ratios, as it's super flavourful(not hot spicy). I did use fresh turmeric and added fresh ginger which probably helps though. I did use the "optional" cayenne also. I kept it vegan and added mushrooms and red kidney beans, served with whole grain loaf 🍞

Holy moley this tastes so good!
I added a bit more ginger and some curry. Next time I might up the spices by another 50%. Also, I grossly miscalculated how much it was going to make and had to finish it off in my crockpot, since none of my pots were big enough. Took longer, but tastes amazing!

So delicious! I have a picky 1 year old and he ate so much of it. I upped the spices a bit but a little does go a long way. I also added the potatoes early so the overall cook time was lower. Will absolutely make again.

So yummy! Great dish! I had to add extra seasonings and even tossed in a dash of butter for extra flavor. Would make again!

I had to sub a few things, but my main objective was to use up my cabbage. The spices are AMAZING together and the cabbage melts like butter, it’s so so good

I love how much it makes, can use as a side all week. And very easy! I would add more spices, it seemed to need a little salt. I don’t mind experimenting, it’s a solid foundation.

Wow! I was skeptical, but wow! I didn't change much, but added a jar of Lupinis which gave it a salty snap. I put it on top of sprouted brown rice. Based on reading the reviews on the website, I split the cooking for both covered and uncovered cooking.

Was delicious and a great way to use up cabbage. Even my husband thought it was delicious.

Yum! Easy and delicious. Makes a ton of food - use a big pot. I steamed my potatoes beforehand, as potatoes tend to take forever to cook on my stove. 25 min in the steamer made them a bit mushy; will try 15 or 20 next time.

It was just ok as a side dish. Husband enjoyed it. I didn’t care for it. Won’t make again.

Needed more spice. Make in a BIG pot to house cabbage. Added 2 tbsp of raw sugar and it was perfect spicy/smooth combo

This dish was delicious! I have despised cabbage for my entire life and am now a convert. I am making this for lunch again this week.

This came out great, even though I realized at the last minute while cooking that I had NO turmeric, so I replaced it with garam masala. I also added a little bit of coriander and extra salt. So, my version didn't come out yellow, but it's delicious, almost melting in the mouth.

Very tasty. Made it again and again. Good as it is. I just use a bit more of the spices.

I absolutely loved it, kids did too! I didn’t have tumeric so I used Curry powder and some fresh ginger but it turned out great, definitely trying it again.
