I loved this meal. I checked may 30 other fish pie recipes before choosing this one, and I think I chose well. Of course I changed it a little, but not much (for me) because all I did was add carrots and use shrimp along with the cod (couldn't get haddock, love shrimp). It was delicious. It took much longer to cook than 25 minutes to cook in the oven. Perhaps this was partly due to my using a thick glazed terra-cotta pie dish and partly because it was filled to the brim with the fish and the pile of potatoes was quite high. We tried a bite after 35 minutes and put it back in the over for another 15. It really needs to be piping hot when it goes on the plate.
