- 1 lb. lean ground beef (I used 95/5 and you could get away with less than a pound)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 Roma tomato (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (pressed)
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley (fresh, and coriander mixed together)
- 1/4 cup green pepper (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (add more if you like it spicy!)
- 1 1/2 tsp. spice (seven, blend of cinnamon, clove, allspice, etc.)
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper (or Simply Organic Spicy Steak seasoning, optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter

I think more spice and garlic would improve it, as well as maybe making the bread around the stuffing instead of adding it into the bread after baking. But a really good jump off point recipe for sure!!

Easy and delicious. The whole family loved these. I didn't need to change anything. This will become a regular on the menu.
