Not sure how it would have worked without the cream, but even with adding some extra liquid I thought it was too grainy from the sugar. I’ll try a different recipe next time I have a craving

It turned out pretty good, but it was a little dry. I would suggest to add at least 2 tbsp. of heavy cream, maybe a little more. If you do add more heavy cream than in the recipe, I would suggest adding a little more vanilla if you like it more pronounced.

I definitely suggest using the mini kisses and only using softened butter. It was amazing. Needs a little cream and you are good to go.

It was just a tad too sweet for me... I think I'd reduce one of the sugars a bit

So good! I used whole wheat flour, doubled the vanilla and added 2-3T water, to compensate for the Whole Wheat flour. So yummy!! Could probably leave out 1/4c sugar without anyone noticing, though.
