Absolutely delicious. It was a rave at dinner. They can't wait for the next time I fix it! So simple and so easy.
Sorry, Jan M., but I didn't find anything difficult about the directions, although the writer was a little verbose, but entertaining. As far as Patricia S. was saying, Old Bay seasoning SHOULD be a requirement for this recipe. I grew up in the Washington D.C. area and am very familiar with blue crabs. I have been in California since 1976 so I am used to the Dungeness crabs which are typically larger. But any time I am back on the East Coast, I look for the blue crabs that are a little sweeter than the Dungeness crabs we have out here, just too bad that aren't a little bigger! '

I'm from Maryland - this recipe needs some Old Bay seasoning, but thanks for not adding a bunch of other ingredients! It is hardly a cheap meal, though, when made with fresh (pasturized) lump crab, even from Indonesia, let alone the East Coast (Carolinas to Delaware, but preferably the Chesapeake Bay).

Perfect. I used mustard with a little horseradish and they turned out perfect. This is the perfect cheap dinner when you want a seafood fix in the middle of the week.
