- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla essence
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 3/4 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen - I use frozen)
- 1/2 cup plain flour (although self-raising is fine too)
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup butter (cut into cubes)
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. almonds (or so of some sort of chopped nuts -, walnuts or pecans are great. Gives a little more crunch and flavor., optional)
