I was concerned about them being too spicy, so I doubled the nuts and oil. I wish I hadn't. I am thinking of adding a little swerve too.

Really good! There is no added sugar and the spices blend well. We used pecan halves. The only thing I would strongly disagree with is to let the seasoned, toasted nuts cool for an hour. They are good, no, excellent while cooling. Make plenty to survive the cooling process!
