- 14 oz. black beans (well-drained, Note: if you're using fresh beans, you want about 1 2/3 cup and make sure they are very well cooked because you'll be mashing them)
- 2 slices bread (crumbled)
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt (regular salt is fine, too, but the seasoned salt provides a ton of extra flavor)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 dash salt (or to taste)
- 1 dash pepper (or to taste)

Came very dry I didn’t use but 1/4 cup of flour will have to try again and add more flavors to them too also barely got 4 burgers

Simple and delicious. Besides mashing the beans, this recipe takes almost no prep time and cooks up in minutes. If you use canned beans, be sure to drain out all the water.

I've made these twice so far and they are delicious. My husband asked me to make them the second time and he is a meat eater! I add corn, but can definitely add a lot of different things if you want.
