  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 12 ounces Smucker's Pineapple Preserves
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 24 ounces beef meatballs (frozen fully-cooked home-style, not Italian or other seasoned variety)
  • 1 green pepper (chopped)

    Directions

    1. WHISK vinegar and cornstarch in medium bowl until smooth. Stir in preserves, ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic until blended.
    2. PLACE meatballs and pepper in 4 to 6-quart slow cooker. Pour sauce mixture over top.
    3. COVER and cook on HIGH 2 hours. Stir to coat meatballs. Cover and cook an additional 1 hour or until sauce is thickened and bubbly.
