This was our first try at sourdough. It came out perfect! We let the final proof go 45 minutes.

I made it.. I tried several recipes of sourdough and none of them were as “good” and simple as this one! I made it into 2 loafs of bread… next time I’ll take a picture.. I love this recipe!
I let it rise for only 1 hour in my garage because I live in the south where it’s hot and humid outside so it was able to rise so fast and so nice!
The process was so easy I’m obsessed! I keep wanting to make more..😂
I added some East in a little sugar water and added that to the dough just in case..
I also have a started that I’m feeding every day but the starter is a little bit different from this recipe.. anyway I love love love this recipe and I’ll me making it from now on!🙂
Also I made it on Chicago Metallic Commercial II Non-Stick Perforated French Bread Pan! It came out like I bought it at the store except I made it at home!!😃

This was my first attempt at sourdough bread and it turned out fantastic. I let it rise overnight and baked it first thing in the morning. Perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside with a great flavor. Thanks for this easy, tasty recipe!

Didn’t raise as high as I hoped, but this is only my second try at sourdough bread.

This is Easy Sourdough Bread. Follow the directions closely. It took around 10 hours to double in size. I baked it in a Dutch Cast Iron 5 quart pot, lined with parchment paper. Turned out great, great flavor.: This will be my go to recipe for sourdough bread. I would give it a 5 but it won’t let me

definitely let rise overnight used less time in oven turned out great! and added brown sugar to initial mix

It's an easy Americanized version (using cups). Worked out pretty well, only wish the bread would have risen a bit more.
