I would “baste” every hour or so to distribute the rub. Or put the rub on the bottom of the roast only. My 4 pound roast was completely done at 6.5 hours on low. It was delicious! I’ll definitely make this again.

I seasoned the meat with additional seasoning than what the recipe called for. It was delicious 😋. I made pulled pork quesadillas with some of the meat. My two grown children loved them and the meat prior to adding the BBQ sauce.

Used Instant pot slow cooker 6hrs on hi. Added a few drops mesquite liquid. I omitted the cinnamon, but may try it next time. Not real sure it would go with my BBQ sauce choice. Turned out great, shredding was easy, just fell apart.

My sister brought this recipe to a family gathering and a favorite! The spices and dry rub made it. Adding to my family list! Also easy for busy moms just put in crock and dinner is done!

Yummy. I used my own sauce but the spices on the pork were really good and the pork was juicy and flavorful.

It turned out better than expected as it was my 1st attempt at pulled pork. We invited our neighbour for dinner and was impressed as well. Will make this part of our monthly menu. 9-5/10

Made this, and it turned out amazing. Used a Carolina style sauce from a local BBQ spot.

Yummy!! The cinnamon combination was amazing! I’ve made pulled pork for many years, but this was a great twist on my traditional recipe. I will definitely make it again!

Fabulous recipe! Smelled divine as it cooked. Easy peasy, too. The most tedious part is shredding the pork. I may need to invest in a pair of Bear Claws. This recipe is a keeper!
