- 4 1/4 cups chicken broth (good quality homemade or store bought, the better your broth, the better the rice flavor will be)
- 2 cups clam juice (bottled, found in grocery stores)
- 1 lb. white fish (firm, cut into bite size pieces, i.e., mahi-mahi, orange roughly, snapper, or halibut are good.)
- 14 mussels (fresh, in shell, cleaned/de-bearded, and well-drained)
- 14 clams (in shell, cleaned and well-drained)
- 12 extra large shrimp (or large, shelled or de-shelled)
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. salted butter
- 1 onion (medium, chopped)
- 8 cloves garlic (fresh, minced)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (freshly)
- 1/4 cup basil (freshly chopped)
- 1/4 cup scallions (freshly chopped)
- 3 tsp. smoked paprika (it's important to use smoked paprika for the smoky flavor)
- 3 Roma tomatoes (large, seeded and chopped)
- 2 cups arborio rice
- lemon wedges (Optional:, or chopped cilantro to serve)

Mya family LOVED it. We Don’t care for clams and such so I sprinkled a little Old Bay Seasoning over halibut, extra large shrimp, and scallops. I also left out the Mexican sausage. Even with all of the alterations it was tasty, filling, and made a nice presentation in the skillet.
