- 1/2 inch fresh ginger (cut roughly)
- 1/4 cup peanuts (good quality)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt (+ more as needed)
- 1 Tbsp. clarified butter (or Ghee)
- 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds (Jeera)
- 1/8 tsp. asafetida (hing)
- 1 whole red chili (Optional)
- 2 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
- 10 curry leaves
- 2 Tbsp. cilantro (roughly chopped)
