The link to this recipe is not the same recipe no longer exists on the website. Needs directions. Added: I believe these are the directions after looking on google. :
1. Heat the oven to 350 F (180 C / Gas 4).
2. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and black pepper.
3. Heat the vegetable oil and butter in a large, heavy skillet or sauté pan over medium heat.
4. Add the pork chops to the pan and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until browned.
5. Using a slotted spoon or spatula, transfer pork chops to a large baking dish. If you are using an oven-safe skillet, remove the chops to a plate and set aside.
6. Peel, core and cut the apples apart.
7. Add flour to drippings in pan. Add a little more butter or oil if there isn't enough to absorb the flour. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until flour mixture is lightly browned, stirring constantly. Don't let the roux burn.
8. Slowly add hot water to flour mixture; cook, stirring, until sauce thickens and simmers.
9. Add the molasses and vinegar until well mixed. Taste and add salt, as needed.
10. Pour sauce over pork chops (if using an oven-safe skillet, return pork chops to sauce). 11. Top the cutlets with the apple slices and raisins.
12. Cover and bake for 1 hour. If you use thick, boneless pork chops in this dish, 1 hour of baking should be perfect. If using thin pork chops, cook for 35 to 45 minutes
