I have made this cake multiple times and it's a definite favorite!! Sometimes I don't have the big can of pineapple slices so I might use crushed and some cherries to it. The best one though is the one that has pecans in it!! Bon Apetit!!

It was very good & very easy. When I first tried it I didn’t have a yellow cake! I am glad I waited for a yellow cake as I think that made it better!

It turned out so delicious. It's my sister in law's favorite cake. When I found she was coming in town for her birthday I started looking for easy pineapple upside down cake recipes and found this one. She was delighted that I had made her favorite cake and we all loved how moist and delicious and perfect it was.

Turned out really good. I made 2 small round cakes and I actually forgot about them for two days I finally cut them into serving sizes so it'd be easier when I took it to work. I made the cake Sunday night and it didn't get eaten until Friday and everyone was raving about it!

When I was a child my mom made something similar to this in a big cast iron skillet but I don't think she used a true "recipe". Since I tend to cook on a small scale I halved the ingredients and used an 8-inch cast iron skillet, baking the cake in a tabletop toaster/convection oven. Oh my! It came out perfect. Since I used half a box of the cake mix, I'll be making another one soon. So easy and so yummy!
