- 1 cup sliced mushrooms

- 1/2 yellow onion (medium, diced)
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 4 slices day-old gluten-free bread (or whole wheat, white, sourdough, etc)

- 1/2 cup milk (I use almond milk, any milk works)
