    My kids love lasagna. I usually try to make it once a year as the recipes I have tried are time consuming. My kids and I made this recipe together. It was SOO much simpler and quicker to make. To our surprise, the lasagna turned out AWESOME. The noodles were cooked thru, soft, and not mushy. We will DEFINITELY be making this recipe often. My kids and I cannot thank you enough for this recipe!

    first time making lasagna. opted for the sausage and it was probably the best I've ever had. I've made it twice since then. used ground beef once but didn't enjoy it as much as the sausage. excellent recipe

    Used a half lb of Italian sausage and 1 lb beef, plus extra sauce (Ragu chunky tomato, onion and garlic) and oven ready noodles Really good flavor !

    Amazing! This was my first time making lasagna that wasn't frozen and it was honestly better than my mom used to make (don't tell her I said that). To clarify for those like me who were confused: the recipe uses regular lasagna noodles but does not require boiling them first. I used hot italian sausage instead of ground beef. I think it would have been very bland otherwise. I also added diced onion and garlic, as well as italian seasoning in the sauce (not just on top). Other than that, I followed the recipe to a T and it was some of the best lasagna I've ever had.

    Minus one star for the recipe not stating what kind of lasagna noodles to use. Since I had regular noodles and assumed that the recipe used no bake noodles, I pre-cooked mine. My sauce came out very soupy, but the noodles were a nice soft texture. Next time I’ll omit the water if I pre-cook the noodles, or I’ll try regular dry noodles or just slightly parboil them. I used Del Monte traditional spaghetti sauce plus a teaspoon of oregano. The overall flavor was slightly bland for lasagna, but the children at my house loved it.

    Delicious but we like meat lovers lasagna, so we'll be adding more meat sauce and ricotta next time. otherwise added a little diced onions and garlic powder and it was great!

    Delicious! Since I work cheese added some extra cheese and each layer and I like lots of sauce too so I really sauced it up. I will definitely make this recipe again its very easy and delicious.

    Turned out great! Even though recipe did not specify, I think oven ready noodles were what was meant for it and what I used, worked perfectly! Did use an extra half pound of meat and half jar of sauce as others recommended.
