- 1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce)
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper (can be omitted if you prefer)
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar (optional – can leave out, or use more or less – 1 teaspoon is what I use)

This sauce is delicious! I made it and added ground beef and Italian sausage which was the perfect combination! I am using it for stuffed shells and cannot wait for everything to come together!

It was delicious, very easy to make, poured it on my cannelloni’s ... every one enjoyed their supper... I let it cook for about an 1 1/2 hours cause of the tomato’s

It was good. I thought may be my canned tomatoes were sour. It was a bit more tangy ! Next I'll try with fresh tomatoes !🙂

I liked this a a lot although I would probably use less garlic next time. I also used a blender after adding all the ingredients but before simmering to give it a uniform texture. I would definitely make again.

simple and tasty :) I let it cook for a lot longer tho... as I normally do with red sauces
