- 500 mL milk (2 cups)
- 125 mL strong coffee (1/2 cup, divided into two mugs)
- heavy cream (whipped, for topping, optional)

- pumpkin pie spice (makes 1/3 cup or 5 large tbsp)
- 3 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
