- 1/2 tsp. canela
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (adjust according to your heat preference)
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cup heavy cream (or full-fat BPA-free coconut milk)
- 2 Tbsp. arrowroot powder
- 1/2 lemon
- arrowroot powder (acts like cornstarch, you can use cornstarch if that’s what you have in your pantry.)

Been making this recipe for a while now and we just love it! My family requests this often and is a family fav! I don’t add or change anything except I put the chicken in whole and frozen then shred sometimes. Pair with some rice and naan bread. Just delicious!
