I used fish stock and added dill weed at the end, so delicious and easy on the calories. Added whole baby clams and chopped clams. Also didn’t peel potatoes, went for a rustic soup and extra vitamins. Added some old bay too! Make this and be a super hero.

I added a can of whole baby clams as well, we like lots of clams. Turned out very well!

I never do a recipe by the letter, and add things I know will inhance the flavor, and what we like, however this one I think it would be great as is A KEEPER. I added tablespoon and 1/2 of crushed garlic, teasoon of old bay, and 2- 10 oz cans whole clams, doubling the recipe up to the half and half (hoping to reduce some fat). Forgot bacon subbed in ham pan fried diced small and added in at the same time with clams. Added the parsley at simmer.

Delicious!! I added some extra thyme and extra clams and bacon as well as some Old Bay. They cleaned it up!

We loved this recipe. I added additional clams and used the bacon in the chowder not as a topping.

Wow!!! This was so easy and quick to make. Obviously the longer it sits the better the flavor. I’ll be adding this to my family cookbook. Very good!
