This was definitely easy to make but not my favorite. There was way too much batter. The batter fluffs up a great deal and over spilled a lot. The final cake is sticky and very crumbly. It tasted good and had just right amount of sugar. Overall I like a denser cake.

Love this recipe! It’s my go-to for both cupcakes and standard cake. Taste is great. I have not made the frosting. I prefer to add 1/2 cup hot water. The 1 cup original guideline was very watery which didn’t taste bad but was unnecessary for amount of cake I needed.

I really like that the recipe for the cupcakes and the frosting were together. The frosting is a bit on the sweet side, and mine was a good consistency without adding milk. I replaced the eggs with applesauce (I have children that like to help so I try not to use raw eggs when possible) and the cupcakes still came out very moist, so much so that they were falling apart. But they were still delicious!

These cupcakes are amazing. My family loved them so much. They are very tasty and the icing on it perfectly compliments the cupcake itself. If you are not a fan of too much sweetness, I would recommend you put less sugar in the composition.

I cut the recipe in half since there's only two of us but it still turned out great! I will surely make this again.

It tastes amazing, but there is so much batter. I had to find some random oven-safe containers like mini cupcakes and tiny loave things. Taste is so good, even without the frosting.

I did the recipe exactly like the directions. They were really great! Moist and sweet and the chocolate flavor very good.

Very good! The cupcakes came out super moist and the frosting was delicious. I was skeptical because the batter was so thin, but it came out perfect.
