- 2 1/2 cups dried fruit (such as fig, dried cranberries, cherries, or pitted dates)
- 1 1/4 cups blanched almonds (toasted and then coarsely chopped, Usually found in baking section of store. Regular almonds toasted will work fine if needed.)
- 1 cup macadamia nuts (or hazelnut, halves, roasted or toasted, if you are using hazelnuts, remove the skin first)
- 4 Tbsp. coconut flour
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder (or cacao powder, Better Body Foods)
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey if you are not vegan)
- 2/3 cup coconut palm sugar (. I used Better Body Foods, See notes for similar options)
- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil (Better Body Foods Coconut liquid)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate
- 60 cacao
