    I personally didn't think it was too sweet at all but just perfect. I was pressed for time and didn't read far enough ahead to see that it said to marinate the chicken so I just cooked it in the marinade and it still turned out great!

    This was easy to make but a little sweet for me, even though I used half the amount of sugar. I also used low sodium soy sauce. I served it with rice and sauteed vegetables. I will probably make this again but next time I will omit the sugar completely. Both my kids loved it and cleaned their plates.

    This is delicious! Very sweet but everyone loved it. I would definitely make it again! Mirin was hard to find but I finally got it. So worth it! Update: I've made this dish multiple times now. The most recent time I made this, I made the mistake of letting it marinate over night. Don't do that! The sauce turns white & watery. Really gross.

    Substituted pineapple balsamic for white vinegar. The chicken turned out great.

    Easy and fast. Didn’t have all ingredients, used red wine instead of Mirin. Might have been better if prepped right next time.

    It was good but the soy sauce overpowered the chicken for my kids and the curry looked like jelly if you put it in the fridge. We coudn't find mirin so we used hot sauce instead. Overall this is really good

    Pretty good and very easy to make, going off of the base recipe the sauce itself could've had a little something more, will probably add ground ginger or something else next time

    Great taste, family loved it.... Cooked with rice and stir fry vege... Added sesame seeds at the end.
