very versatile. i did like a cup of cheese and added a cup of heavy whipping cream (in addition to milk) which made it drizzling consistency

This comes out very thick like a nacho dip. I added a bit more cheddar, some parmesan, and at least another 1-4 cup of milk for drizzling over broccoli. Flavor is good and roux instructions are easy!
