If you are any similar to me await your cravings for something sweet quite often. Processes snacks, bars, crisp are easily reached for but I hope this might tempt you for something so easy and basic as our old childhood friend: the pancake ☺ This recipe is so easy to make and you can also make as little you want. What will prevent you finish all the leftover one slater. Also you can use cookies cutters to create smaller pancake sizes. For one egg I got 10 small pancakes what can satisfy about 1-5 children/adults. Depending how much or little you decorate it with extras. You can just sprinkle it with sugar and cinnamon or add something more filling like yogurt with sugar and banana. For 10 small pancakes you will need:

  • 1 egg
  • 150 grams flour
  • 350 milliliters milk (add it slowly for your desired consistency)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon oil

    Directions

    1. Prepare your flour, egg, salt, sugar and baking powder together and gently whisk. When all items are combined slowly start to add your milk and oil. Beat it until the batter is smooth and glossy.
    2. You can set is aside in your fridge for some time (my mums tip – 20 min) or you can start to fry it in your pan immediately. On medium heat with butter or oil (I prefer butter) slowly create your little pancake beauties. I find this step very relaxing ☺
    3. When you are done decorate with the ingredients you have and flush it down together with a big glass of milk. YUM!
