- 1 cup celery (sliced thin , about 2 stalks)
- 1 cup Vidalia onion (sweet, peeled and diced small , about 1 medium onion)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 64 oz. low sodium chicken broth (plus more if desired)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. fresh thyme (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. pepper (or to taste)
- 12 oz. wide egg noodles (or your favorite noodles or pasta)
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded, use storebought rotisserie chicken to save time; or roast or cook your own chicken in a skillet)
- 4 Tbsp. flat leaf parsley leaves (fresh, finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
- salt (to taste)

I actually air fried my chicken and used some different seasonings. It is delicious!! Next time I make it, I will use a little cayenne pepper to add heat..

Easy recipe to follow & prepare. I added a few tablespoons of Chicken Better than Bouillon and a few matzo balls. It was delicious!
