  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (or onion powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 corn tortillas (small)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato (finely)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño (finely chopped, deseeded)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 pinch salt (and pepper to taste)

    Made them exactly as described. Made the chicken in a cast iron skillet and it needed a bit extra time to cook but it was juicy and delicious! the chicken had a nice crispy outer bit but not to be mistaken with burnt! This will be my go-to taco recipe from now on! Topped with sour cream and sharp cheddar cheese…. YUMMMMY

    Easy and delicious! I made this same recipe with chicken breasts instead, but today I had the chicken thighs and those were so much better!

    Yum! I used pre-diced chicken breast from my grocer’s deli to allow for an even more simple prep process. Super quick and super yummy!

    Delicious. I used the lime juice and marinated for 2 hours after pounding my chicken breasts. Then grilled. Had really good flavor. The kids liked it and spoke of Rubio’s. Guacamole on top.

    Very tasty. Will definitely make again. I wish, though, that the ingredients and instructions or the cilantro lime sauce were included with the main ingredients. No fun realizing too late that you need to return to the store.

    Absolutely the best chicken tacos! Added sauteed sliced onions to the chicken and garnished with chopped up fresh jalapeno pepper. Really made it pop.

    It was so good and for being a first time cook, and this being the first meal I’ve ever cooked myself, and even my parents loved it, it deserves a five star :)
