Description
You have been put in charge one of the desserts for Easter. You have no idea what to make, but you know it has to be decadent, and sweet. This Easter Pastry Wreath recipe will guarantee to please the crowds. Make sure you plan accordingly because this recipe is for two servings and it takes 90 minutes to prepare. Ingredients include flour, dry yeast, butter, eggs, egg yolks, lemon, honey, milk, rum, vanilla, olive oil, chocolate, pastry cream, and candied figs.

- 500 grams flour
- 10 grams dry yeast
- 125 grams butter (softened)
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 lemon
- 125 grams honey
- 100 mL milk
- 25 mL rum
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- olive oil
- 1 egg (additional, beaten)
- 1 chocolate (purchased Easter egg)
- pastry cream
- 2 figs (candied)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
- Place the eggs, egg yolk, vanilla, lemon rind, flour, yeast, and honey into a mixing bowl. Use the mixer to start to form a dough. Add the milk and rum. Mix. Add the butter and beat until incorporated and the dough comes away from the side of the bowl.
- Coat the dough lightly with oil and cover with plastic wrap. Let rest in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in volume.
