I’ve made this bread at least 6 times. Everyone I’ve given a loaf to is impressed with how good it is. I take the temp of my flour and use this to calculate the temp of my water. I also mix the yeast into the flour before I add the salt and water.
My flour temp is 65- the temp of my house (summer) and I use 100 degree water- using a kitchen thermometer.
I’ve also used bread flour and all purpose flour. My bread turns out perfect every single time.
I have many recipes for artisan bread. This is the best and the easiest.

Very nice crust, inside fluffy and tastes great! I made it exactly as described! Next time I will try it with seeds!
