- 4 Tbsp. water
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 3 Tbsp. peanut oil (or other vegetable oil)
- 3 cups orange juice
- 1 Orange (finely grated zest of ,small)
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. chili flakes (or 2 tsp crushed chili paste more or less to taste, use 1/4 of this amount if you don’t like spicy sauces)
- 2 Tbsp. corn starch (1 1/2 to)
- 1/4 cup water

Excellent! I marinated the chicken pieces for 30 minutes in the orange sauce before breading. Also let them sit on a rack for about 10 min before frying so the breading sticks. Used some orange juice concentrate along with fresh squeezed to make the sauce, came out thick and very orangey! Put about 3 tbs sugar in the sauce with the honey-no need for cornstarch

Delicious, but the amount of indredients at each step is way more than needed. You'll have 4x the sauce and flour needed.

Absolutely delicious and definitely will be making again. My only gripe is the timings. Definitely takes longer than stated but well worth it.
