The cake turned out perfect.. The batter reminded me of my fav Hershey’s chocolate cake as it is very thin. I had to cook the cake 28 minutes and it was just right. Now the frosting is a different story. I followed the recipe and I used heavy cream. I ended up with a blob of powdered sugar! I had to add at least 1/4 cup more of the cream. It was way too much powdered sugar or not near enough cream. I added enough cream to make it creamy. I used a mixer to smooth it out and poured it on the warm cake. It was a whole lot of frosting and I thought it was going to overflow the pan but it looks great and I can’t wait to try it.
Has anyone else had this problem? I am fairly sure I used the right amount of p. sugar
