- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg (freshly)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled to room temperature)
- 2 tsp. grated orange zest (freshly, be careful to avoid the white pith of the orange, it's bitter)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 4 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

This really is moist and delicious! I made a variation with cardamon, and it turned out nice too.

lives up to the name!! i did not use any orange because i did not have fresh in the house. however its still very good. highly recommended and simple to make.
