- 1 onion (medium, finely chopped)
- 1 bell pepper (small green sweet, finely chopped)

- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 600 mL milk
- 1 can salmon (drained, flaked and the skin and bones removed)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- ground black pepper (freshly, to taste)
- 210 grams plain flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter (cold, cut into bits)
- 125 mL milk (1/2 cup)
- 100 grams shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, Swiss etc. I used a combination of red leicester and strong cheddar)
- 1/4 cup pimento stuffed olives (chopped, about 8 olives)
