I used the crust recipe and some of the filling suggestions. I found sliced rosemary ham at Trader Joe’s and it was fantastic. I used TJ’s chicken Italian sausage, which was precooked so I just sliced it and added to the mushrooms and peppers. I couldn’t pull the trigger on uncooked sauce so I used a recipe where you grate the onion and add sugar. It was THE best pizza I’ve ever made.

This recipe was perfect for us. Sweat your vegetables and meats before you bake to reduce moisture in the pizza. I also browned my Italian sausage before the assembly. When you cut, put it on a cooling rack to let the liquid drain as you serve. I will make more dough next time so I have a little more to go up the sides. Also, rub the spring form pan with cold butter before you put the dough in. Much better than oil.

Used pizza sauce instead of the tomato mixture, ham was nice touch, but the crust was too hard. family loved it, so will make again, but work with the dough/crust.
