- 1/2 cup dried porcini (crumbled, or other dried wild mushrooms)
- 1 small onion (sliced)
- 6 scallions (chopped)
- 1 celery stalk (chopped)
- 1 carrot (chopped)
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cups water
