I love this recipe but only with a modification. I cut the recipe in half but add about 4 Tbsp of Old Bay, whole garlic cloves, and after the boil, I let it simmer for about an hour. That’s the only way to let the ingredients soak up flavor from the seasoning. I also add the shrimp the last 10 minutes of the simmer otherwise they are too cooked
